Is using dictation for essays allowed?
Dictation produces your own words, so it is typing by other means. Edit Mode changes text only at your instruction. Anything beyond that, like AI-generated content, is governed by your institution’s academic integrity policies, which you should follow.
How does the Canvas integration work?
Connect Canvas once, then ask things like what is due this week or what assignments a course has. VoiceOS reads from Canvas and answers, and can pair it with reminders or calendar entries, each confirmed before creation.
Can I use it for lecture notes in real time?
It is designed for dictating your own speech rather than transcribing a professor across the room. The strong pattern is speaking your summary right after class, which is faster than typing and better for retention.
