Affiliate Program Policy
Effective Date: June 9, 2026
Welcome to the VoiceOS Affiliate Program! This Policy outlines the terms and conditions for participating in our program. By signing up as an affiliate, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. Program Overview and Eligibility
Purpose: The VoiceOS Affiliate Program is designed to reward influencers, creators, and advocates who refer new paying customers to our platform.
Separation from Referral Program: This Affiliate Program is separate from the standard VoiceOS user referral system and is subject to its own rules, commission structures, and payout terms.
Eligibility: Participation is open to individuals (aged 18 or older) and businesses with an established audience or relevant platform. VoiceOS reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its sole discretion.
Account Setup: Approved affiliates will receive access to a dedicated dashboard via Dub.co to generate custom affiliate links (using the ?aff= parameter) and track performance. The official portal is located at partners.dub.co/voice-os.
2. Commission Structure
| Parameter | Policy Details |
|---|---|
| Commission Rate | 25% recurring commission on subscription payments made by referred users |
| Duration | Paid indefinitely for as long as the referred user maintains an active, paid subscription |
| Trigger Event | Click on custom affiliate link followed by a paid VoiceOS subscription purchase |
| Cancellation Policy | Commissions stop immediately upon subscription cancellation; no future commissions unless the user resubscribes via the affiliate link |
| Incentive Options | Affiliates can choose whether referred users receive standard trials or extended trial periods/credits upon sign-up |
3. Payment Terms
Minimum Payout Threshold: The minimum balance required to trigger a payout is $100. If the balance is below this threshold, earnings will roll over to the next month.
Payout Schedule: Payouts are processed automatically on a monthly basis.
Holding Period: To account for potential refunds or chargebacks, payouts are only issued for commissions earned at least 7 days after the referred user's initial subscription payment.
Payment Method: All payouts are processed via Stripe through the Dub.co platform. Affiliates must maintain an active and valid Stripe account connected to their Dub.co dashboard to receive funds.
Currency: All commissions are calculated and paid in USD.
4. Affiliate Dashboard and Tracking
Tracking Mechanism: Referrals are tracked using the custom ?aff= parameter in the affiliate link. Affiliates must use this exact link format to ensure proper tracking.
Dashboard Access: Affiliates will have access to a dashboard providing real-time data on:
- Number of referred users
- Subscription status of referred users
- Current earnings and pending commissions
- Projected future income based on active subscriptions
Admin Controls: VoiceOS administrators retain the right to monitor affiliate activity, adjust commission rates (with prior notice), and approve or deny specific promotional campaigns.
5. Prohibited Traffic Sources and Activities
To maintain the integrity of the VoiceOS brand, the following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of the affiliate account and forfeiture of pending commissions:
- Brand Bidding (Strict Prohibition): Affiliates CANNOT use Google Ads or any other paid search engine advertising to bid on VoiceOS brand terms (e.g., "VoiceOS", "VoiceOS app", "VoiceOS pricing", "Voice OS", or any misspellings/variations).
- Direct Linking in Ads: Direct linking from paid search ads to the VoiceOS website using the affiliate link is prohibited. Traffic from permitted generic paid search terms must be directed to the affiliate's own landing page first.
- Spam and Unsolicited Outreach: Sending unsolicited bulk emails (spam), automated scripts, or engaging in intrusive direct messaging campaigns containing the affiliate link.
- Coupon and Deal Sites: Posting affiliate links on coupon aggregators, deal sites, or framing the link as a "discount code" without explicit authorization.
- Fraudulent Activity: Using bots, fake accounts, stolen credit cards, or self-referrals to generate artificial sign-ups or commissions.
- Misrepresentation: Making false claims, guarantees, or misrepresenting the capabilities, pricing, or features of VoiceOS (e.g., claiming it does web-based transcription rather than desktop-based dictation and voice-to-action).
6. Brand Guidelines and Disclosures
Brand Representation: Affiliates must represent the VoiceOS brand professionally and accurately. The use of VoiceOS logos, screenshots, or marketing materials must adhere to provided brand guidelines.
No Impersonation: Affiliates may not create social media accounts, domains, or websites that impersonate VoiceOS or imply they are official VoiceOS channels.
Desktop Context: Affiliates must accurately describe VoiceOS as a desktop dictation and voice-to-action application, highlighting its capability to run locally and execute actions via voice commands, rather than confusing it with traditional web-based transcription tools.
7. Termination
Termination by Affiliate: Affiliates may terminate their participation in the program at any time by notifying VoiceOS in writing.
Termination by VoiceOS: VoiceOS reserves the right to terminate an affiliate's account at any time, with or without cause.
Consequences of Termination:
- If terminated for a violation of this Policy (especially Section 5), all pending and future commissions will be forfeited.
- If terminated without cause, VoiceOS will pay any outstanding commissions that have cleared the 7-day holding period and meet the $100 minimum threshold.
8. Modifications
VoiceOS reserves the right to modify this Affiliate Program Policy at any time. Affiliates will be notified of significant changes via email or through the affiliate dashboard. Continued participation in the program following such notice constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
